STABLE CHANGE:
After 2.5 years with Team Hawkes it was decided to offer owners the opportunity to relocate our steeds to Feale Park under the training of Jake Hull. This was accepted by the owners and all have remained with Equicom and have faith in the exciting move which was not done lightly.
Jake is a former jockey that trains out of the idyllic settings on the Central Coast and boasts a wonderful set up with his own track, pool, walker and acres of space for day yards and spelling.
With a very modern day approach with training, communication, and an willingness to travel to where best suits the horse we have a very bright future.
Over the past few years I have had horses with Jake and been very impressed with his attention to detail and the care for horses, and of course success with limited stock whilst building his stable.
Change is always testing but a necessity to succeed. Our relationship is very strong and we work very well together.
In the coming weeks a date will be decided upon for an Open Day to allow owners to visit Feale Park and meet Jake and his family in person.
I would like to thank Team Hawkes for their work and wish them every success moving forward.
Brief Horse Updates: Further to regular, individual owner WhatsApp messages.
Flying Crazy Inglis 6yo Gelding 🤪 trained by Team Hawkes, Rosehill - Summary: 39-5:1:5 Prizemoney incl. Bonus: $643,340
Upon Crazies arrival at Feale Park it was identified that he had a few internal issues that needed to be rectified with appropriate medication. He is now in great order ansd we look forward to him racing on 2nd August in Qld or at Rosehill.
Altair I AM - MM 4yo Gelding ✨ trained by Team Hawkes, Rosehill - Summary: 10-1:2:0 Prizemoney: $72,050
Altair was very unlucky when blocked for a run in his first race back in Victoria and after his second up race was fiund to be 2/5 lame.
Once ariiving at Feale Park and after thorough examination it was identified that he had a few issues in his knee which required an operation. 4 days after his arrival he was operted on and from all accounts it was a success. He has undergone box rest and now heading into a small restrictive yard to assist his rehab.
He will spell for 3 months and beck back racing later in the year.
Thank you to all owners that have supported him during this time and we hope he can now reach his full potential.
Allapercanto (Swifty) 🐴 - Inglis 4yo Filly - Trained by Team Hawkes, Rosehill- Summary: 16-3:2:4 Prizemoney: $143,900

Lady Savannah - MM 3yo Filly - Trained by Team Hawkes, Rosehill - Summary: 9-1:1:0 Prizemoney: $48,025
Our Lady has had a very close second at Wyong after looking home and nutted on the line. She continues to mature and looks to race in the coming days, most likely at Kembla tomorrow in race 6. The form around her is solid and we look forward to her stepping up.
Adeel It's a Steal (Dundeel x Stroak) - 3yo gelding Trained by Team Hawkes - Summary: 0-0:0:0 Prizemoney: $1,050
The big boy has certainly made an impression on the team at Feale Park. After his pre-training with Will at the farm he came up in great order and will be approaching the trails in a few weeks time. All going well and after patience from all concerned we look forward to seeing him at the track and over a suitable distance as he develops.
Thanks again to our devoted and attentive team of trainers and pre trainers (Farm) that give our horses every opportunity to succeed.
Just a quick reminder that if you see a horse racing that you are not in the ownership of and would like to come out and support, please contact me direct and I will organise tickets for you (subject to availability). It's the more, the merrier 🙂
