Ruby Kisses MM 3yo filly  trained by Gerald Ryan- Rosehill

I am pleased to confirm that Ruby has commenced pre training after a well-deserved spell. During this time, she has really furnished (grown and bolstered) which will hold her in good stead for the upcoming campaign. 3 weeks pre and 3/4 weeks faster work will see her race, hopefully a couple of times before she turns 4. Her BOBS bonus as with all horses registered ends on their 4th Birthday 1st August.

Flying Crazy Inglis 3yo gelding  trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

After his sensational win at Eagle farm 10 days ago in the "DayBreak Lover" stakes race, he is heading to Hawkesbury this Saturday to contest the Group 3 Guineas. He certainly has not only met expectations but exceeded. A perfect example of not racing too early and allowing a horse time to mature and furnish. Note did not race until being a 3yo.

Lady Brulee, MM 2yo filly -  trained by Lee and Cherie Curtis - Rosehill

Our Lady resumed her fast work at the stables last week and is showing excellent progress and maturity. Lee has been very pleased on how she has adapted straight back into stable life. We expect her to have an inhouse jump out in approx. 3 weeks' time before heading to an official trial late May.

Paballo - 2yo Gelding -  trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

Paballo has been making nice steady progress in the stables and fast becoming a team favourite due to his very kind and easy-going nature. Gerald has a high regard for him and will be set for a jump out shortly and heading to the trials 20th May at Rosehill. From there his immediate racing future will be clearer. However, likely to make the track for an educational race thereafter.

Crazy Russian, Inglis 2yo Colt  trained by Gary Moore - Rosehill

Flying Crazy's half-brother (Same Dam/Mother) is showing all the same traits at the same stages of their careers. Glyn Schofield has kindly ridden him in trackwork over the past 3 weeks and given valuable insights and shared his extensive knowledge to aid Team Moore with his development. Despite being a bit green (immature) in his first few weeks back he has made significant progress over this time. Similar to Paballo he is set to trial 20th May at Rosehill, providing all stays on track.

The Newby - I Am Invincible COLT: (half-brother to Lady Brulee)

I Am Invincible x Mothers Milk - yearling - trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

I Am Sirius / Sirius I Am / Sirius Am I ( Names lodged with Racing NSW after voting) completed his Breaking in with no issues and only positive reports from the team at WBF Breaking (Will Forrester and Tayh). He is now having a well-deserved spell to allow him to absorb all the teachings he has been given. He may be up to the stables for the open day but we will play this by ear in the short term. In the event he will be left alone in the paddock he is always available for visits as with all horses whilst spelling in Bowral. The team at WBF are always very welcoming and accommodating to Equicom Owners.

Please advise if you would like to attend the netball by the 1st May for booking purposes.

Regards,

Brief Horse Updates: Further to individual owner WhatsApp regular updates.

Ruby Kisses MM 3yo filly  trained by Gerald Ryan- Rosehill

Currently spelling and set to pre train from approx. 25th April.

Flying Crazy Inglis 3yo gelding  trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

Likely, off on a road trip today up to the Sunny, dry tracks of Eagle Farm, Queensland. After his last race in Group 3 company at Randwick it was very evident that he doesn't like to heavy going. All part of the learning process of our horses. Hence, off we go. Good luck to all owners

Horses currently in Pre-Training:

Lady Brulee, MM 2yo filly -  trained by Lee and Sheree Curtis - Rosehill

Laby B will be arriving at the stable today or tomorrow to commence her faster work/training with Team Curtis. She has come on well from her time at Aquagait (pre training facility) and look forward to backing up her previous foundation at Rosehill. 4 weeks should see her at the trials all going well.

Paballo - 2yo Gelding -  trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

This strapping lad has been in pre training with Gerald for 4 weeks now and made significant improvement in his mental capacity and physicality.

His faster work started on Saturday and look forward to him making a trial in 4 weeks and very likely a Raceday appearance thereafter.

Crazy Russian, Inglis 2yo Colt  trained by Gary Moore - Rosehill

This elegant looking boy has also started his faster work with Glyn Schofield coming in today to put him through his paces and give us a good guide as where he is at.

The feedback was very constructive and not uncommon for a good sized 2 yo at this stage of his career. "Carries himself really well, Feels nice and Good to sit on". "Early days and his confidence will build with his mind not quite on the job yet".

This constructive feedback really aids the team in their program setting and allows a measured approach.

The Newby - I Am Invincible COLT: (half-brother to Lady Brulee)

I Am Invincible x Mothers Milk - yearling - trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

Reaching completion of his Breaking In program, he has completed all tasks with ease. Most pleasing is to see his growth in height and structure really taking shape. We will coordinate a week up at the stables for an orientation, hopefully coincided with the open day.

Please advise if you would like to attend the netball and/or the open day by the 1st May for booking and catering purposes.

MARCH 2022 UPDATE

Brief Horse Updates: Further to individual owner WhatsApp regular updates.

Princess Zeddy 4yo Mare trained by Gary and James Moore - Rosehill

It is with disappointment that I advise that PZ has moved onto a very suitable home in Grafton after the inglis digital sale. Our Princess was given every opportunity to perform at Provincial level but struggled to make the most of it. She will be much better suited being trained out in the country and we wish her every success. Naturally i will monitor her career and keep in touch with her new owners of who i actually know from previous dealings. There is certainly a soft spot for her as she was the first syndicated horse for Equicom and despite promising so much early on it did not quite materialise, mostly through injury outside of anyone's control. Despite the emotion we have to ensure it is the best interests of both horse and owners and this was the best option. We will however remember her win at Newcastle fondly.

Ruby Kisses MM 3yo filly  trained by Gerald Ryan- Rosehill

Ruby is having a well deserved spell for approx. 6 - 8 weeks (starting 21st March) after a 5 race last preparation which saw her win at Canterbury and a further 2 placings. As well as a trip to QLD for MM Guineas claiming a nice Women in racing bonus cheque. So proud of the girl she is a real Trier and gives 100% every time giving her owners a thrill and a healthy future to look forward to.

Flying Crazy Inglis 3yo gelding  trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

The big boy..... Crazy gave all us owners a day to remember at Canberra 2 weeks back winning the Canberra Guineas (Listed race). In front of 16 fanatical owners he managed to defy the odds and find a gap that we didn't think was there. Under the masterful ride by Keagan Latham he jinked and dived through and won convincingly to take out the big race. Congratulations to all and thank you for making it so memorable.

FC is now lining up in the Carbine Club, Group 3 on Saturday, race 2 at Randwick, again with Keagan on board. He is showing his class however the step up in distance and the bottomless track will really test him and all opponents. At least after Saturday we will get a great gauge as to whether these conditions will be suitable moving forward through his exciting career.

Good luck Crazy and his owners.

Horses currently in Pre-Training:

Lady Brulee, MM 2yo filly -  trained by Lee and Sheree Curtis - Rosehill

LB has been in pre training at the Aquagait training centre now for 2 weeks (11th March). Aquagait is a preferred method by Team Curtis with less impact on joints during their initial work with the water walker and treadmill to work on. Expected into the stables in the coming weeks and hopefully to a trial if not a race by the end of her preparation.

Paballo - 2yo Gelding -  trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

Pre training was moved into the stables at Rosehill and Gerald / Stirling are giving him a sound platform to work from and they will determine as to when he starts to step up his work rate. His progress will be closely monitored and hope to see him trial / race by the end of this preperation.

Crazy Russian, Inglis 2yo Colt  trained by Gary Moore - Rosehill

Crazy Russian was also moved into the stables on  to complete his pre training before stepping up the work rate. Just like the other 2yo's really doing everything right and fingers crossed he follows exactly in his half brothers footsteps.

The Newby: (half-brother to Lady Brulee)

I Am Invincible x Mothers Milk - yearling - trained by Gerald Ryan - Rosehill

This boy is commenced his breaking in program on Monday 7th March (6 weeks). Subsequent stable visits will occur as part of his orientation over the next 6 months before stepping up his work to see if he is an early type. He will target the Magic Millions just like Ruby, but naturally he will tell us in his own way if he is ready or needs time like our other current 2yo's.

Finally:

I am always very conscious, hence no gloating when a horse is successful on social media etc as not all owners have the same levels of returns. I would like to show you the overall stats of the horses that have raced for Equicom and their owners so far. Just in case you have friends that may be interested in the future.

2 more horses to add in the coming months to get to the magic 8 number that I can service.

4 horses to race (Princess Zeddy, Ruby Kisses, Casan Geal and Flying Crazy - All winners 100% strike rate.

43 Races in total.

18.6% Win Rate

41.86 Place rate

Thank you as always for the loyal support and stay safe.
